Re: Don't Starve!

Shamefully, I've yet to get past the 20 day mark. I did dig up my first graveyard yesterday though, like a boss. The Steam Trading Card beta renewed my interest in the game. The cards that are tied to Don't Starve give you some beautiful desktop wallpapers. I've got Willow decorating mine at the mom...

Re: Company of Heroes 2

I own the first CoH and played the beta for the sequel, but I still can't get into it. My love for Dawn of War borders on the perverse, so I've always wanted to like CoH as well but it's just not happening. Especially with all those dam mortars. I have a weird relationship with RTS, I love the genre...

Re: British and other comedy

Teachers (staring Andrew Lincoln of The Walking Dead fame) How did I not notice that until now? Dang. I agree with Ideal, Psycho Paul and all that. Series went a bit odd towards the end though, BBC3 has some real issues with deciding when to call it quits on a show. :P Am I the only one here that's...

Re: War for the Overworld

I've tried to be as cynical as possible with this game (still backed it the second I saw the kickstarter page though, derp), but after playing the beta/alpha/whatever I can totally see this filling the void that DK3 has left.

I'm still afraid to hope though. :)

Oh lawd, it's Gorb. This place just got a little more classy.

I don't think I ever actually posted on the Relic forums, but, worryingly, I still instantly recognised you. :P

Martin, from the UK.

Maia was basically an instant sell for me and the recent alpha build has done nothing to change that. I'm particularly fond of the lighting engine and the description tool tip for the computer consoles. :P

Re: Frames per second

Anyone who would even notice that a game is running at 30FPS would presumably have a powerful PC that's capable of a stable 60FPS anyway. Personally I'd hate to see it running at 30, like one of those `orrible Xbox games you hear about in horror stories. The alpha runs at an average of 70FPS for me,...
