Re: Maia real time planet rendering

Has little flashes of light as meteors strike the planet. :D Aaaaand this is the kind of attention to detail that pushes a game from good to GREAT. Is it impacting the gameplay or anything like that at all? No. Does it enrich the entire game experience, and give a big wink to more discerning player...

Re: Maia surface suit texture

I certainly hope there will be lighting of some kind! Will colonists be able to run out of air, or suffer suit breaches? I'd like to think that whilst most colonists would go mental and panic in such a situation, the occasional hardcore guy would simply say goodbye then remove his helmet, or shoot h...

Re: Vices & Crime

Re: Alien beasts VS airlocks

The doors and airlocks are.. inconveniently.. opened by motion sensors. So will allow any thing that has a motion signature the size of a human in an out. That does mean that the larger and smaller aliens wont just be able to saunter in, but they'll find a way. :) (you can manually lock all doors b...

I do hope we'll see some "inbuilt features" with the more advanced robots!
