Fission Reactor WIP

Fission reactors are a great source of power, but require constant maintenance and resources to maintain.

Both of the nuclear reactor types will need to be placed sealed clean rooms. You wont be able to dump them in a standard room like I have above.

That's looking awesome. I also like the fact that they have to be in a dedicated clean-room environment :D

Fission reactors (current and past) require steam turbines and condensers to make electricity. Is there any plan to incorporate this or is it "under the reactor", hidden from view. Or some other way the colonists get energy? I think it would be cool to place another turbine to get more power, and have the colonists do maintenance. It would also give a chance for steam injures....muahahaha :twisted:

Also, for large isolation valves, gate valves are mostly used, they are large and clunky.

Looks excellent and I love the detail on the control panel. I hope that it emits some kind of ominous throbbing sound that makes you feel like you are meddling in science that you don't fully understand...

I don't know who's making these models, but he's doing a great job. They are consistently very good quality, and these lights make very good models look great.

At least there will always be Hot water on the base for Coffee and a shower, the colonists will be happy.

Simon, On the Capacitors you had the Red/Yellow/Green bars to indicate charge level, could you add something simple like this to the Generators to display generation level vs current system load.
Perhaps have the bars upside down, starting at green and moving up the line to Red as you get closer to running the generators at 100% capacity.

another thing that the UI doesn't have to display.

Just a thought.

Well the game is a cutaway view. Wont be flooding your base with radioactive steam... well unless it breaks down.
