I have downloaded the build that was up an hour ago and got these errors:

Specs: Win 7 SP1 64; Intel Core2Quad Q9450; 8G RAM; ATI HD 4870 512 RAM

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance

UPDATE: on Core i7, 6G RAM and GeForce GT555 - the same set of errors as mentioned by loolamonster, Tikigod and TH0TH. Game did not load - white screen, but I was able to hear ambient sound of wind (menu music I suppose?)

For me it ran great, 50-90 FPS and everything seemed to run fine apart from once when I also got a black screen, I have ran it 20 times in a row and can't replicate it now.

Running GTX 580 SLI

Win7 Ulti 64bit // i7 //6GB RAM

Selection and PFX bugs fixed. New build is up.
Selection working well now. Managed to build a few rooms but the (yet to arrive) colonists will have to put up with piles of rocks all over the nice new floor.

Fast game speeds make the robot stop working but putting the game speed back to a reasonable level makes him start working again.
Putting the game speed in reverse causes a client crash.

ps - Bum support :P

Planet shows up fine on load.
55-75 fps
Black Screen except for mouse over in the IMP which displays the green IMP text, and the FPS counter

Everything seemed to work fine, game didn't crash at all. Framerate seemed good at first, fraps reported it to be at 30, but it did slow down considerably when I started to dig. It seems to drop very low when it displays the dust particles as a wall collapses, but goes back a bit after that. The more walls I dug away though, the lower the FPS dropped, first to 20 then to about 15, I thought maybe it was because it had do render all those minerals. Didn't go much below 15, except once it went down all the way to 2 FPS as a wall collapsed, and didn't come back any higher after that, had to restart the game.
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i7 4770K (4.0 GHz)
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770, 4GB

Game started fine, sound is fine if it is supposed to be heavy wind, globe loaded, tooltips worked fine, everything all black though, but that's the known ATI bug.

Interesting that some people get shader compile errors. Are your drivers up to date?

The shadowbuffer error is the reason for the black screen. For those who are interested. ATI for some reason, wont let me create a framebuffer(image to render to), without it having a colour buffer attached. While I can attach a colour buffer texture, the size of that texture would be obscene as the shadow map is 4096*4096. Its what made earlier builds use way more CPU than they needed. (system was constantly swapping the giant texture about)

The planet in the beginning looks OK, not all the flashes that the Linux version had though.

It is a shader error. The shader utilities cannot match the program code to the shader variables:

was fixed by adding the following to Gbuffer_Out_ScanlinesGui.vert

Code: Select all

uniform int Time;
and by changing "time" to "Time" in the file "UniformBuffers.xml".

I have tried fixing the remaining errors but with no luck so far...
