Maia Backer Alpha 0.28 release notes.

0.28 is a patch for 0.27. It adds some more content and will fix a lot of bugs and peoples issues.

Log into your account on http://members.maiagame.com to download the latest zip.

As with 0.27 Colonist/Creature AI is currently partly disabled. They wont build anything, eat or die... (yet). Check out the new hydroponics room! :)

wsad = movement.
mousewheel = zoom
alt + mouse mouse = rotate camera

Debug Controls:

j = Place rooms.
Press 1-6 for different room types.

h = Info mode. Click-place digging markers (on rock) / read info tips (on mouseover of objects)

k = Debug click-place objects (use v-b to scroll all objects ctrl for snap-to-grid )

u = Debug instabuild objects (gets rid of green hologram effect) .

Click to track any object in game.

l = regenerate world. (bugged: does not eradicate old rooms)

Escape = Exit

-/+ Keypad = Modify game time speed. (This will not be in final game, so don't report bugs!)

Please post your system specs along with any problems you have.

You will also need the VS Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package: http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download ... px?id=5555

You can edit the config.xml to change resolution and enable fullscreen.

ATI users: Use the Catalyst 13.4 non-beta release from 29th May.

I'm still not able to play?
at first it says there's a problem with the joystick, then it talks about "An incorrect GLSL Version: 410"

and then "Error: Vertex Shader Compilation Failed

I downloaded everything required and it still won't work. Please help!

Please can you both post the output of dxdiag so I can diagnose your issues? Go start>run then type "dxdiag" and then press enter.

Or download CPU-Z and post the data from that.

Hi, there I am again. I've got even less than the last time, though. Perhaps it's time I took a more structural approach sometime.

- Rooms can be placed through the big bulkhead door.
- Doors do not move with rooms - you can place a room, place a door, then expand the room, leaving the door perfectly as it is. Not really a bug, but hey.

- Room connection at odd angles sometimes goes wrong, see screenshots below.

- A problem with low-power work lights. Their red light is square.

- When it's snowing, the crater is covered with a slightly darker snow, making really obvious it's an object placed on the terrain.
- When it's snowing, the line between inside and outside is made very clear, since it's just a straight line. It's kinda jarring but probably not really a bug.

- As reported before, some items are bugged. They're the same as Mark's atmosphere generator bug (see page 2 of the 0.27 thread), but cover the super capacitor and the working table.
- Black boxes in the border are still there.
- Item selecting is much less buggy now.

That's all the things I can think of right now. Might edit it later if I find something else. Anything I should be on the lookout for?

Edit1: You can also place items on the hydrophonics' water area. Is this intentional?
edit2: The fusion reactor is unnamed and appears to generate no power.

Yeah I'm lucky but my PC got blinded by the awesomeness of Maia, so everything is dark :( We are simply not worth it!
