Yeah system output will be helpful. Wrap any large chunks of text in [ code ] [ /code] tags so they turn up scrollable!

Edit: Also it would be worthwhile anyone who is suffering from the stuttering to try the game at a lower resolution. The config file is inside the app package as mentioned above!

Changing to "low" has made no difference for me.

Here you go: File Oh, and it runs aorund 9-11 threads, it only seems to occupy 99-101% cpu time.

Doesn't appear to change anything.

I found this and thought it may be of interest, unsure.

Code: Select all

Invalid Index on Uniform Buffer Object. bilateralBlurHorz: GlobalData
Invalid Index on Uniform Buffer Object. bilateralBlurVert: GlobalData
Invalid Index on Uniform Buffer Object. LightpassMenu: LightingData
No such uniform named LightMatrix in shader LightpassMenu
No such uniform named depthBuffer in shader FinalComp
No such uniform named impVis in shader FinalComp
Was in the terminal for the app.

Well, i dont seem to have those logged, but il go run thru again incase they've been cleared. And as they, say a pictures worth a thousand words, so maybe a movie even more? :P

Also, this is what i get out of console, an issue with cvms:

Code: Select all

20/10/2013 20:52:59.000 kernel[0]: Maia_Alpha (map: 0xffffff80429750e8) triggered DYLD shared region unnest for map: 0xffffff80429750e8, region 0x7fff89c00000->0x7fff89e00000. While not abnormal for debuggers, this increases system memory footprint until the target exits.

Ok that's a more of a slideshow than a game. So it is using multiple threads, but is bottlenecking entirely on the CPU.

It might be some optimisations coming from the new Xcode which don't play nice with 10.8.

The thing is, i could still occasionally ear the sound of rocks being broken in the background if i clicked around wildly enough, so something must have been going on, but its a bit tricky to replicate.

And it seems to be okay on my laptop now, but still crashes after 1min 25 the first time, and 3min 27 the second, segfaulting out.

OOH The cvmsServ issue might be the problem.

I'll put out a new build tomorrow that might fix it somewhat.

Thanks for the help.
