If there's one thing I learned from Dwarf Fortress, its that *everything* is better with lava
I second this motion.

Very Impressive, Are the colonists going to actually go into a cell and take on\off the suit? Sorry for the little things, those are the little improvements that make games great IMO.
I do like the art design of it. Of course no effects are added but for the first redesign that is completely awesome.
Keep up the good work. the hardest part is yet to come.

Argh, this ruins all my plans! I was hoping for a more... modular design.
Rather than having one pre designed Airlock 'Chamber' (only fit for personal), I was hoping you could have Airlocks of different sizes. For example, part of my plan was to have a massive Airlock/Hanger for storing my rovers/having an airlock/being used as part of my dastardly defence systems.
Also, question: Love the rover design (looks a little top heavy) but my question what are we going to use them for?

There will be surface exploration, the rover will (presumably) be a large boon there.

Sorry to ask this here(as it is possible that you did mention it somewhere else), but what program do you use for modeling and rendering? Kinda intrigued.
