So long and thanks for all the fish...

Post by Studdart » Thu Dec 20, 2012 9:06 am

Well apparently the world is going to end tomorrow, and we'll never see the release of Maia, so thought I'd start a thread to say thanks to everyone... after all you're better safe than sorry.

On the serious note though, how many times even in my life time has the world been "ending" and we're all still here clinging onto this heap of dirt, but still people are panic buying in shops around by me, Asda is manic (even more so than usual weekend before Christmas), what are people panic buying for though? If the world ends why would it make a difference if you had a stock pile of bread that goes off at the end of the week?

Sorry, I know this is a bit of a rant, but just wanted to rant at a group of people who "appear" to be slightly more intellectual than the average pleb (or at least geeky)

It's like russian roulette.
The hammer has gone *click* 5 times so it should be reasonably safe to continue.

The world did end.

The afterlife is just very unimaginative.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
