British and other comedy

Post by GMAN » Mon Apr 01, 2013 4:36 pm

I was watching the I.T. Crowd on Hulu, and love that show!

"Her parents died in a fire." - Roy
"Where?" - Moss
"At a Seaparks!" -Roy

How does a Seaparks catch on fire?

This show is the funniest!

Comedies i highly recommend:

Pete vs Life, Him and Her (also has one of my favourite actors Russell Tovey), Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Ideal, Being Human, The Inbetweeners, Campus, Teachers (staring Andrew Lincoln of The Walking Dead fame), Peep show.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret is something I saw recently on Netflix and is pretty hilarious, it is about an incompetent American (played by David Cross) who is sent to London to head up a new UK division of a company.

How did I not notice that until now? Dang. I agree with Ideal, Psycho Paul and all that. Series went a bit odd towards the end though, BBC3 has some real issues with deciding when to call it quits on a show. :P

Am I the only one here that's thinking about trying a 1 month free trial on Netflix to watch the new series of Arrested Development?

Black Books.

You don't actually need any other comedy after that anymore.

I'm currently watching all episodes of Arrested Development to refresh my memory for the arrival of the new series on Sunday... do we know if they're just releasing all episodes at once, or if they're doing one episode a week or something, cos if it's the first I'll of probably of watched all the episodes by monday night :D

Also I second Black Books...

But if we're going British Comedy, the only true route is to go old school,

Monty Python, the Goodies, Morecambe & Wise and Fawlty Towers...

And not so old school anymore, but I'd be hung by the wife if I didn't mention the Small Crmison One here... so Red Dwarf
I'll get my coat...
