You get that many stars where you live? I envy you. It's far too bright in my city for me to ever see more than a few stars.

EDIT: Now I wonder, do you just see more stars than you just would with the naked eye because of the longer exposure? I think I might have to try that here.

Could see about 3/4 of those with the naked eye. Maybe all of them if you look hard enough. (

Space has always fascinated me even from a young age when I was reading space books in nursery. Have you guys ever actually been somewhere where you can see the stars properly like out at sea or somewhere out like in the bush of South Africa? Words can't really put it into perspective just how much we miss when we live in the city. The milky way is truly incredible!
